Each dance takes an enormous amount of time, effort and funds. THE Dance team meets weekly to discuss pressing matters and to optimize those three categories: time, effort and funds. At the end of each dance, THE mission is to save as much money as possible in order for it to be donated to a good cause. This year's Prom will be donating its proceeds to Fellowship of Faith's ministry in Africa. After all the money spent to create the dance or any debt accumulated after planning is repaid, some money is saved for future dances in order to reduce the cost of paying outside sources, and the rest is donated directly to the cause. The more participants the higher the donation amount. Currently, about 50% of the net income is donated. Meaning, 50% of the entire earning goes to funding the creation of the dance, and 50% of the total income or 100% of the profit goes to donation. We hope to better optimize these numbers in-order to continue to give more and more to Christ Jesus. We plan on accomplishing this goal by making future oriented purchases for lighting equipment, decorations and supplies. We also plan on growing the number of attendees to increase the overall income and therefore increase the amount donated.
